Man's point of view on their wives enjoying the day while they work?
My husband is a total work a holic. When he is not working he is helping his mom, my mom or working on things around the house. The only thing he ever wants to do is work. The little time he does have he is exhausted, which I totally understand. He never has the desire to go anywhere with me or the kids, he always says "I'm too tired." He tells me to go out and enjoy the day. When I do go out and do something, like go swimming for example, he appears to be angry when I get home. He is not possesive or jealous in anyway, but he just seems disturbed. Often he is very short with me. I don't get it, he doesn't want me staying at home and staring at four walls, yet he is mad when I do something. Before I do anything, I make sure the house is clean, the laundry is done and a dinner plan is in place. What do you suppose is the problem? What can I do?

I think he feels unappreciated. Not that you probably aren't doing & saying things to make him feel this way... It's his deal. I would encourage you to take him out on a date! You plan the whole day or evening around him. If he refuses to go, do not allow this... A marriage is it's own entity. It has to have nurturing & time to keep it strong. After a nice dinner, tell him Thank You - this is for all you do for us!

Your husband needs to learn how to relax. It is okay to "help" your mom and his mom, but there has got to be a limit. He is enjoying nothing in life. Try to plan some things that he is interested in, and urge him to go with you. Good luck.

Communication is the best way, talk to him in a nice way "what he wants ? ", or why he acts like this and like that, etc. Since he is always tired, maybe he needs some attention. I salute you for being a good wife. Good luck & God bless you !!!

Tell him you appreciate him providing for you. Ask if he wants you to get a job. He is stressed having to work so much. If it is more than stress and he just doesn't want to do things with YOU, then there is a bigger problem.
