If there were a one-year moratorium on new laws . . .?

No new laws could be passed on the State or National level for one year. What would be the result?

About the same as now. Their not getting anything passed because their bickering and complaining about the Bush administration and trying to get people fired and impeached. We need a congress that passes laws, not hot air.

an absolute quagmire if there were a natural disaster.

    or terrorist attack.

    or emergency of any kind.

day to day life wouldn't change much, because most laws don't affect day to day life unless you're dealing with the SEC and dealing drugs.
