Sometimes it just happens. I would make sure I am getting enough calcium, magnesium and boron....this comes in most good multivitamin, mineral supplements. Calcium controls every nerve and muscle in your body. Women before menopause should be taking at least 1200 mg. a day. This is in addition to getting some through foods like milk, cheese and cereals. You need Mag. to absorb the calcium and utilize..400 at least and boron also helps calcium to be absorbed. If it's in the vitamin it is enough. I have had that in the past. It usually passes but take the calcium and if it continues you may want to see the Dr. It probably will go away on it's own though. good luck. Ditto to the tired eye info. I thought you might know that allready!

When your eyes twitches it means your brain is tired. I know it sounds weird, but that is what the doc's at work say. Have you been getting enough sleep lately?

myokymia. benign eyelid twitch. caused by: stress, caffeine, lack of sleep, potassium deficiency, sometimes for no apparent reason

helped by: warm compresses, vitamin supplement, topical antihistamines (like OTC alaway), more sleep, less stress, less caffeine

only need medical intervention if: lasts more than 30 days or involves more than just eyelid muscles (like if your cheek muscles were twitching)
