What happen to top contributor?

Question

I had two top contributor (Football and General TV). However when I check a few days ago I only had a general TV badge. My first reaction was that I lost my Football top contributor because I was not being active member on the football section (even though I was). So, I click on my profile and I did not see any top contributor badge, (not even one for general TV). I looked at someone else profile that was a top contributor, they also did not have the badge in their profile. Then I looked at a person who used to have three  top contributor badges. He only had one (Like me, Yahoo Answer only keep one). So I have a few questions. Why did I lose my top contributors? Why did everyone else lose their top contributors badges? Is their something wrong with Yahoo Answers? Will it ever be fixed? Why did Yahoo Answers only keep one of my badges?  When will Yahoo Answers fix it?

Yes, lately there have been possible glitches involving the TC badge. Many people have reported categories missing. See http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuohIN9TgBqQdzXdYhOZkCkAAAAA?qid=20070801173937AAKNtDd . I have had a couple removed as well (Y! 360 and Y/A)

UPDATE: Yahzmin has posted about the bug on the Y/A forum. See http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=answers&fid=39412 as did several others since then (and it looks like before her too...LOL!).

You'll have to search through all those posts to see if Y/A staff has looked at or answered them.

There's a glitch in Yahoo this week. My "top contributor" categories no longer show on my profile. Some people report that 2 out of 3 of their categories disappeared. 

However, my badge still shows so I guess I still am a TC. It would be an odd coincidence if I lost my TC status in all 3 categories overnight. I've lost it in Movies before but got it back later.

It's just a glitch. They'll fix it when they feel like it. They regularly have glitches of one kind or another. Welcome to YaHELL.

I've noticed something as well.  When I look at my profile the "Top Contributor" thing isn't there and the categories I had it in are not listed.  However when I go back and look at an answer I gave it says "Top Contributor" below my avatar.  Something must be up unless I lost it (which wouldn't bother me at all).  They should have it resolved soon.

From what I have heard there is a problem with the answer corner
maybe someone who works at yahoo will see this and get it fixed
