Well Stormy, I guess that depends on how you look at it. If you understand the concept of the conscious mind and how it is connected to the physical body, then I guess ghosts do exist in a sense.

We are not our physical bodies, but the spirit that inhabits the body, using the body as a machine to guide us through the physical world. This used to be folklore, but now is becoming scientifically proven. There is an energy within us all called the conscious connection to the universal. In religions and sects around the world, different cultures have different names for this...which I'm sure you can think of a few names for the creator of all.

Well, think about it, does the body power the spirit within, or does the spirit within power the body? Obviously, we would not be able to move our bodies if we had no conscious spirit to aim it in the right direction. So, with that said, does this conscious energy cease to exist after the body dies, I would think not, being that it is connected to the universal. So, with the Socratic method in place, it is safe to assume that the conscious spirit does exist on, even after the death of the physical body.

Now we must move on to the next part, where does it go? Does it stay, does it join the universal, does it's energy disperse into the universe...I think it is safe to say, none of us would dare to know that answer until we reach that plane.

All in all, I don't believe in ghosts as portrayed in stories, but I do believe that the conscious spirit does stay around the energy that it was connected to during physical mortality. Maybe this is why all the paranormal enthusiasts state that spirits do not haunt places... but, they haunt people. Maybe it is because they are attracted to the energy of the people that surrounded them in life.

I put much stock in the universal consciousness and the energy that is within us all, the universal laws, such as the big one that is really famous right now; The Law of Attraction. Sad thing is, in the community that I belong to, we have found that people are only inquiring and attempting to apply that one. That is usually why they can't connect with success or grasp what exactly is the whole "GHOST" theory. Well, with that said, I hope this was a good answer for you. Yes, for several reasons. One is because I bought a house and each time we renovated a room there would be all kinds of disturbances,.Once, when I was asleep I felt the bottom of my mattress shift, I woke up to see a figure sitting on the edge of my bed, I was so scared I jumped over my husband and flew into the walk in closet. My girlfriend who lived out of town and would come to visit would complain that my one child`s bedroom was always cold, even though it was a room that we had thoroughly insulted, put in new windows and was closest to the furnace! Needless to say she did not stay in that room often. Even my husband who was a skeptic had an experience in the house, he was home alone, I was at my sister`s and he kept hearing footsteps coming from the upstairs when he would call my name, even though he knew I was not at home, they would stop. When I came home he was white as a ghost! and these are just a few instances. So, yes I am a believer.

Yes, I know for a fact that they do. When I was 9 my Grandpa died. I was really close to him. I always felt his presence around me. When I was a teen, my parents worked nights and I had friend over. Just doing nothing, she kept looking the othher way when I talked. She saw him too. I went to bed that night, and had little statues with different sayings. I lived in an old home which did not have light switches, just a pull chain from the ceiling. I was in bed and the light went off. I said "Grandpa, please stop it!" The light came back on and there was on of my statues lying next to me. The statue said,

    "SORRY ABOUT THAT!"

Yeah, I could go on and on about my experiences with ghosts. Lost my whole paycheck, my mother ~ God Rest Her Soul ~ help me find it!

    Keep safe and keep believing!
