I have downloaded limewire can not get it to work have tried every thing says Im behind a firewall or router?
someone please tell me what to do dont no if I have more than one firewalls on my computer had to have cleaned up had viruses and have not been able to go back on limewire since if you can help please go step by step because I have tried everything I can think of tried other sites but there not as good as limewire PLEASE HELP THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

I had the same problem with mine it was because I was using AOL, I had to block AOL from running to use Limewire and then Unblock when I was finished. If you have McAfee anti virus software that will also cause a problem it is not compatible so make sure to turn it off before using Limewire

Double check any of your antivirus/ adware programs whether they've block your limewire program.
After you've reset them to unblocked.
Then it's advisable for you to uninstall your limewire program (but leave the preferences alone) then reinstall your limewire program.
Becareful of what you download from limewire, bcs it can be prone to virus, worms, corrupted files.
If it's still not working do check if your company/main server/school blocks any peer to peer programs & etc.
