Some people just need to vent or just express their view. You are doing that right now. You seem very intellegent and I agree with you to a certain extent.

As a confirmed Catholic I am called to evangelize. I don't proselytize, but I do evangelize. Sorry if that doesn't set well with you. I do it and I enjoy it. And, on a rare occasion, I get a thank you letter. That makes all the thumbs-down worthwhile.

Because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that whoever shall believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life. He wills not one of his children should perish, that is why we try to save as many as we can from Satan's horrible fate(the lake of fire).

i think that people should believe in what ever they darn well want to. My gripe is trying to get the fundies to actually admit that their religion is not as perfect as they think it is...

I have no such need. I just respond to questions. If you don't want to know what I believe, stop asking.
