This trade seems pretty fair and it depends on what the team needs.

I could see that the Bedard side may need some pitching and they have good outfielders to give away Ichiro. They could have enough SB and AVG to trade him to help there weakness in pitching.

On the Ichiro side, they could of had great pitching and needed a little help with SB and AVG along with an outfielder so I can see this trade benefitting both teams.

    Good Luck

Well depends on what the two teams need. Ichiro gives that team a whole lot of speed. While Bedard and Haren will give them a lot of pitching. (wins, Ks, ERA, WHIP,) I'd have to say the one with Bedard and Haren.

At first glance the one that got Haren and Bedard. However, if the guy that gave them away really needed steals and a good average and had the pitching to spare - no veto.

whoever got the pitchers probably got a slightly better deal as haren's been tops for the year and bedard the top pitcher the past month or so.

but i'm guessing each team addressed their needs in this trade so you should both be winners.

those adult men do no longer understand what they are speaking approximately. group A have been given a miles greater appropriate deal than group B. Ryan Zimmerman is going to be a myth stud this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, interior the nationals new "hitter friendly" park. Chad Billingsley is taken under consideration one of the large youthful pitchers interior the sport and he ultimately has a respectable offense to back him up. Joe Blanton has next to no longer something in run help this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days on Oakland, yet I doubt he's often on Oakland while the season starts off. the two way, Blanton will discover a thank you to get you 12-15 wins and a sub 4 era. plenty greater appropriate deal. youkilis, matsui, and buerhrlie suck in myth besides.

My 2 cents worth. This trade is as bad of a trade as I have seen in a long time. Whoever got the pitchers got jobbed even if he needed steals in a big way. Either one of those pitchers alone should get Ichiro. If I was the commissioner, I would throw that trade out. If I was in the league, I would vote to veto it.

The person that got the pitching got the better deal. Lots of guys hit for average. A guy that gets wins with decently low era is much harder to come by. If Ichiro had any sort of power numbers, it would be a different story.

2 top 5 starting pitchers for one hitter? Good pitching is so hard to come by. Whoever got those pitchers got the better of the deal.
