"trading in" value opinion on a tahoe???

I have a 98 Tahoe with 106,000 miles. It's in pretty close to exellent shape but the only "problem" is that I dont have air conditioning. Thats a problem because I'm not in the position to lose my time or sufure with my baby always crying because he"s HOT.At the nissan dealer they are going to give me $4000 trade in for a $26,000 Armada tossing on top $4000 extra that i owe on my truck SHOULD I DO THIS???

Go to KBB.com and you can find out exactly what its worth. Kelly Blue Book will tell you what its worth and what you should expect from a trade in.

Keep the Tahoe and get the air conditioner fixed. $4K is about 1/2 the blue book value of your truck. The Armada is going to put you 'upside down' on your payments before you would get the Tahoe paid off.

try neogotiating on the price of your trade also you may be able to get a newer tahoe with more features cheaper than the armada, or maybe a 2003, 2004 4 runner they are very nice and reliable
