Breastfeeding during pregnancy?

Is there any way to guarantee your supply won't be effected during pregnancy and that you can still feed your child while you're pregnant with another?

No. Your body prepares for the next one in line and there are different horomones involved in growing a baby than there are with feeding one.

My mom was nursing my brother. She got pregnant with me and completely dried up.

You could try expressing as much milk as possible before it's gone though.

Keep a normal feeding schedule, eat 500 extra calories, (actually about 100 extra, some for breastfeeding, some for pregnancy) drink glass after glass of fluids like juice, milk and water.

Consult a lactation consultant or LaLecheLeague for more advice.

the act of sucking by a baby stimulates the breasts nerves to bring out more milk. the only time you should stop breastfeeding while under pregnancy is when you are about to put to bed, in order to preserve the colostrum (yellowish thick milk) for the unborn baby.

My mom is almost 25 weeks pregnant and my 8.5 month previous toddler sister Kiara remains nursing in simple terms nice, it would not look to have replaced as Kiara remains nursing reguarly like she continually has, and so it hasn't brought about her to word yet or to wean (yet anayways) this is solid as my mom plans to breastfeed her for no less than 2 years if a probability. :)

I heard that you are not suppose to breastfeed while pregnant because it take nutrients away from your unborn child.
