Portable DVD Player? HELP!?
My daughter has a portable DVD player. When we insert the disc, it spins, but continues to say "Loading." How would I fix this problem? I have plugged it into the wall, so we are not working on a low battery. I'm usually pretty good with electronics but am stumped on this one.
Sorry! I had already tried using several discs, all of which I cleaned with a cloth designed for DVDs. However, we had not thought of cleaning the inside with alcohol. We do not have any, but can get some. Does anyone else have any ideas?

As the previous response stated, did you try multiple DVD's? If so, then try dipping a Q-tip in some isopropryl alcohol and cleaning the laser lense (dome shape assembly).

try using a different DVD the one you're using might be scratched... if you a;ready tried multiple ones then it's the dvd player and there's not much you can do about that unless you try to open it up and figure it out
