This question applies to someone that is or knows a mortgage officer.?
My new beau says things aren't going well in the mortgage industry and doesn't feel like talking to me. He says he will give me a call in a few days. It's been a few days already. So my question is are things really so bad in the mortgage industry? or is he just trying to just blow me off? Also, since he said he would call me (and I want to respect this) do you think it would be ok for me to send him a nice e-mail or txt msg ( I want to do this by Monday) just telling him that I'm thinking about him or should I just do nothing and wait for him to call me?

Mortgage companies are going out of business right now. Yes, it's a HORRIBLE time for people in the mortgage business. Lots of people are losing their homes right now because of f'ed up loans.
