What do I get someone who I've only known for a short period of time. We're still getting to know each other so I'm not sure what he likes. Some ideas please.

He only wants to come over to my place and never says anything about taking me out. I really do like him but it makes me think he's only after one thing. My new beau says things aren't going well in the mortgage industry and doesn't feel like talking to me. He says he will give me a call in a few days. It's been a few days already. So my question is are things really so bad in the mortgage industry? or is he just trying to just blow me off? Also, since he said he would call me (and I want to respect this) do you think it would be ok for me to send him a nice e-mail or txt msg ( I want to do this by Monday) just telling him that I'm thinking about him or should I just do nothing and wait for him to call me?

The guy i've been dating for 11/2 months just completely stopped talking to me. Last time I saw him he told me he was only dating me and I told him I was only dating him too. He said he wanted this relationship to the next level. Since we both have strong feelings for each other, I totally agreed with him. Well, a few days after our talk, I felt like he was totally blowing me off. When I would call him he said it wasnt a good time and he would call me back. I did this for about 3 days and he never returned any of my calls. He did call me back after I had sent him a sweet text msg on his phone. Then said he would call me back in a few days. Well, it's been a week since our last conversation. What do you think happened? Did he change his mind about us being more serious and is afraid of commitment? He 's the one that brought up this topic. I'm soo depressed. I really do miss him and I don't want to call/txt him bcuz I don't want to seem pushy.
