Would you feel closer to God? To Heaven?

It looks like a hotel in space will open in 2012. (Interesting date :-)

Whether you believe in God/Heaven concepts or not, what do you expect you'd feel floating in space looking back at earth and seeing 15 sunrises each day?

If you could afford the trip, what would you hope to gain from the experience?

I think it would be wonderful, but I suspect they will have a physical exam for the people who go, in order to avoid lawsuits and bad publicity. I'm not likely to be fit enough for such travel by the time they open. Will someone please bring me back a souvenir?

I believe in God very much so. If and a BIG if lol, I would not refuse an opportunity to see space- it would be a rare chance to see God's creation up there. It would be both a spiritual and, indeed; a very educational experience for me.

God does not wish man to trespass in his heaven. The earth was created for man, the heavens for God. The Son has returned to make corrections for man's errors. Many changes will be necessary, such as the elimination of all enemies of the Son, and of the Father, which are the same. "For all those I love, I rebuke and chasten". This means that half of the world will go to heaven, and half to hell.

I don't know if I would feel anything spiritually, except for pure awe. I would mostly do it for the little sci-fi nerd inside of me.

I won't go. Victoria Principal (an actress) has signed up. She paid $100,000.

Nothing at all should be able to make you feel closer to something that doesnt exist.
