easy marinade for beef needed?
i have beer, white zin wine, browning liquid & spices. But i have no soy or teriyaki sauce. I really don't want a "sweet" marinade just something to mainly tenderize bottom round steaks...Thanks to all who answer~~

Mix 1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix with 1 cup of beer & marinate for at least 1 hour. If you don't have soup mix, stir together a beef boullion cube - crushed with some garlic powder, onion powder, steak seasoning, fresh ground pepper.
Make sure you let the meat rest at least 10 minutes before slicing to seal in the juices......

My favorite marinade for beef is:
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. red wine vinegar (No biggie if you don't have this, just sub some white vinegar and the Zin mixed.)
1 t. minced garlic
1 T. (yes, tablespoon) coarsely crushed black peppercorns
optional: you can add even more bite with a dash of red pepper, if you like.
Mix all in a large zipplock bag, add the meat and turn occasionally while its in the fridge. Awesome good.

in a bowl, mix together all of the following things.
gibsons white chicken sauce
bbq sauce
a drop of soy sauce
2 drops of teriyaki sauce
a little bit of beer
a drop or two of liquid smoke
some a-1 or country bobs steak sauce
blend it together taste, if you was a zang, add a drop at a time of tabasco sauce, mix up after each drop.
this can be used as marinade or grilling sauce. it is going to be thin but not too thin.

1/2 cup salad oil, stirring the oil in slowly.
Then add:
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

lemon juice, it tenderizes the meat, and it leaves it with a very good flavor, i also use garlic powder, and a cajun seasoning mixed with it, it does not taste lemony afterwards..the cirtric acid breaks down the meat, making it extremely tender, good luck

if you have a little worchestershire sauce, a little knorr liquid seasoning, and some chopped garlic, salt and pepper, you're all set to go.
