for some reason, when I add new tabs on firefox, they don't have a specific site that they go to...it's just a blank "untitled" page
how can I make it go to my homepage?

Yes you can do that if you install the extension called Tabbrowser Preferences. It adds several more options for Firefox tabs and I use it. Here is a link to the download and description:

You could download the tab clicking options extension and then use your new tab button (not the left mouse button) to click on home.

when it open like a blank page click over the little howse next to your address bar to take you to your homepage !
