Does anyone know what was going on at the Barton Highway (Canberra) Sunday 12th August?
Apparently there had been an accident, but for some reason the SWAT teams showed up with rifles or shotguns and the police were searching vehicles trying to enter Canberra at Kuringa Drive. They were there for hours. I'm really curious to know what was happening, I feel if someone or something was entering Canberra that needed that much security the public should be told...
I can't find any info online.
Well, I have been searching for some time now. Eventually the incident got a mention in the small fre weekly newspaper. They were searching for two guys in their 20s smuggling drugs and firearms into canberra. They got caught with cocain, heroin and something else, plus some guns. I'm glad they stopped them putting that stuff on the streets!

i dont know what was going on but it must have been serious if the swat team was there did u watch the news it might be on the news so watch the news for informaiton and go to the news website to see if it is on there yall should know if something had happen try the news
