How do I replace the freon on my 2000 Grand Prix?

The air blows, but it does not blow very cold. In fact, I see no difference from having the AC button on or off. The air is slightly cool, but not cold. Am I right in assuming this is just low freon?

You may also assume that you have a freon leak. The leak really should be repaired first. That way you don't have to keep going back and adding freon to the system. Most likely a seal in one of the lines. They will evacuate the system then replace the seal, then evacuate the system again, and add the freon and oil for the compressor. good luck.
