roughly how much does it cost to put on the immersion (heat water) fro about 3 hours?

I have two settings on my immersion, sink, or bath, if I put it on bath for 3 hours roughly how much does that cost?

(for anyone that doesn’t know what im talking about, its the switch that's usually in your hot press/boiling cupboard that heats water, I think its an engilish/irish thing so people in other countries might not know what im taking about)

cheers!

Update:

i know it depends on tariffs and so on but i just want a rough, educated estimate please!!

thanks!

I believe jayktee to envision the settings do no longer conflict. factors are made as low fee as achieveable recently and not something lasts constantly, i've got geared up immersion warmers that have lasted purely in line with week in the previous bobbing up this project which steadily gets worst and it truly may well be frightening and disrupting for the client. In my journey the choice to alter the completed heater regularly works out greater suitable and greater fee-effective interior the long as your new factor has no longer have been given any scale construct up and the different factors are effortlessly style new and function a 300 and sixty 5 days assure additionally you might have warm water returned so truly on your part its a win win,,, in simple terms get some fees first in the previous the works are accomplished. you may desire to be observing around a hundred - a hundred and twenty to alter this heater alongside with factors.

That will depend on your electricity tariff - mine comes on in the night so uses Economy 7, which is a lot cheaper than the daytime tariff and makes enough hot water to last most of the day.

    A 2kw immersion heater running for 3 hours = 6kw.

    Assume a tariff of 15p/kw = 90p

Obviously your heater could be different size or your tariff could be different but you can estimate 50p - £1. Hope this helps.
