Plain and simple:NO.
We all know the feeling when we try and get one last thing accomplished in the day- the ego is satisfied with a good day's work, but the body is beat. Most of this damage is repaired during sleep, thank goodness, but if the pattern of misuse continues, and becomes abuse, the damage will eventually remain.
This applies directly to the fragile mechanism that we call voice. Despite the amazing sturdiness of the tissues, tendons, muscles, etc., the voice does not respond well to over work. Singing while tired is the cause of more vocal failure than just about anything else- except prolonged screaming.
Do your friend a favor, and tell her to take a break.
Professional singers don't sing more than two hours straight without a break, even on nights where there's a big show there's always a break time. The voice needs it!

It is never a good idea to do that. If it hurts to sing. She needs to take a break from it. Never sing when your tired.

Hell nah she aint doin the right thing. Singing while tired isn't going to help her be a better singer it's just gonna hurt her. Plain and simple.

She shouldn't sing if she's way too tired, or she'll strain her voice. Only she know how she feels, and her stopping point.

if it hurts..she shouldn't do it...if you're really tired and you sing..you can strain your voice trying to hit higher notes. tell her to giver herself a rest if she wants her voice healthy...
