oil (olive/ sesame/ walnut/ whatever)
soy sauce
chopped fresh chilli (red or green)
lemon juice
garlic
ginger
some sort of fruit cordial to give it a bit of sweetness, but you could use honey if you eat it.
* take the tofu out of the marinade, lay on a grill pan, high heat till it starts to brown.
* turn the tofu over, spoon on some of the good stuff from the marinade (chunks of chili/ ginger etc) a grill on the second side till that's brown.
* serve with something like a rice/ grain and a green salad, nothing else too flavourful!

why would you grill tofu?
if you have to, get firm tofu, or baked tofu
and if it's baked tofu, you can grill it stright on the grill with no problem, brush it with oilve oil first and sauce i guess
if you just have the white firm tofu, then wrap it in foil and sauce it and bake it i guess, i've never cook like that before....
edit you can just roast vegg on the side in another foil pouch

don't know allergic to soya. Heat grill pan before adding tofu pre dusted with flour and grill quickly
