No there isn't. I agree with you i find i highly offensive when people post questions to "moderate Muslims" what is that? I am a Muslim simple as that i refuse to put any word proceeding it. If i dont use the word moderate before Muslim are you to assume i am something else? Am i extremist ? Am i conservative? Am is liberated? I am a Muslim simple as that and i will not label myself to suit others agenda's. I dont remember the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stating he was a moderate Muslim, a conservative Muslim just Muslim and that is all i will ever be not Sufi, not moderate, not Shiite, not conservative just Muslim take it or leave it like it or lump it.

As a Muslim, I believe all rules of Islam are just from the Creator. There is no need to modify anything in Islam because God Knows best. Hence being a Muslim to me already has the meanings of justice and truth in it.

conservative muslims are the ones we see around the world giving islam a bad name - fighting, blowing up innocent people, killing, supressing women, all in the name of islam.

I consider myself a liberal muslim..one who follows the basics of islam and does not believe in all the crap that comes from the conservative muslims.

A man who believes in the Tawheed of Allah Sobhanaho wa Ta'ala, and the monotheism of Ibrahim Peace be upon him, and in The Quran and the Sunna "teachings" of the Prophet, and loves his family Peace be upon him and them all is a Muslim.. Just Muslim.. No names...

Islam is liberation.. Allah says:

" He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah." 22: 78

He has named us Muslims.. that's enough.

This choice of differentiating one another is what is sad about this religious movement, as well as all (ALL) others.

It keeps people from becoming spiritually pure, something that happens with the heart sense, and not the ears! Why do we have to keep listening to another to interpret the higher source of "our" soul?

Were we not born out of the same pure essence?

If so, then why does one person claim to be "more" than another? More knowing of what the higher source wants?

We are all created equal, and if there is any movement, especially a religious one telling us likewise, it is making fools of their followers.

Listen to your heart-felt voice on this, if your really, really listening, then you know this is truth.

I totally agree with sister sen b. We have become so scared of other's judgment that much!!!!!!!

Islam is not a religion of extremism, people don't understand it well...I hate the fact that muslim people find always themselves in a defense situation...Things shouldn't be this way.

actualy i don't know about those terms b4 , and it is more weired to be in their profile , i think they wantto say they aren't a very strict muslim (liberal ) or a true follower (conservative.) may be..not sur it is just my guessing.

These are words made up from the west. In the Middle East native Arab speakers do not use such terms. We are simply "MUSLIMS".
