Which NFL team is the most over-hyped this pre-season?

And will that team actually live up to the hype?

I think it's a tie between the Chargers and the Patriots for me.

    I'd have to say Chargers.

They have the talent for sure, but they could not bring it together with a proven coach, so why would they do better under Norv Turner, he of the so inspiring record as a head-coach.

Can't agree with the Pats, because Belichek?Brady are a proven commodity, and this looks to be the most talented team Brady has led yet. So I would say they could live up to the Hype.

I'd also have to list San Fran, Pittsburgh, and Chicago as overhyped. Too much change or, too tough of schedules.

Detroits defense will likely trip up whatever good their offense accomplishes. (kinda like Cincy vs. SD last season)

I think Jacksonville could live up to the hype as a dark horse, looking at their camp, this is the first time Leftwich has ever looked comfortable, and they do have an amazing defense.

*James I, I have long pulled for the Niners/Bengals, and never shied away from it. I have been extremely happy to watch both teams play each other in the superbowl. I am a johnny come lately though...I have only been on yahoo answers 2 weeks.

Patriots for the big teams. They're getting more hype than the champs and other top teams. For the middle of the pack teams, the 49ers are getting tons of hype to have a breakthrough season.

Although, I have to agree with ball that the Browns are overhyped (as they always are when someone says "yeah, I think the Browns are going to win a few games this year), but more overhyped than the Browns are the Tennessee Titans. Vince Young will fall victim to the Madden Curse and it will all be over for them - back into the cellar and getting pounded on by the rest of their schedule. Yeah, it's the Titans.

Chicago Bears. An unproven over-hyped running back, one go-to receiver (Berrian) and Rex Grossman, who's the most Jeckyl and Hyde quarterback in history. I know the D is still good, but they had some turnover and I doubt they'll be as dominant this season. They'll still win their division, but it will only be because their division is the weakest in football.

I think it the Bears. As the last Packer game and the Super Bowl showed, the Bears have two weaknesses; quarterback, and the ability to come from behind. They may win their division, but it will be a struggle this year, and I don't see them going too far in the playoffs.

The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia eagles are tied for the most over-hyped.

I think the 49ers are being over-hyped.(people are talking playoffs)

I look for the Saints to take a step back this year.

    ps.Carolina is over-hyped every year
