Why did my mother have to be right?
When she told me I would wake up one morning and suddenly really desire to have a baby? I never believed it would happen quite like that, but damn it all......it did. Why did my mother have to be right? And why does this happen?

Because instinct demands the desire to breed.. Moms are usually right because they have been there themselves. It really has nothing to do with stability or age, women just SNAP and the thought becomes all consuming.. Trust me, I know! Let's both have kids soon so they can play together and be buddies! I'm thinking... Rum and coke play-dates (for us, not them, of course)!?? Heh..

Happens to the best of us. I didn't think I wanted kids or at least not a baby. Then, BAM!!! One day I do and the desire grew stronger when I started dating my husband to be. Now I can't imagine NOT being a mom. It's so much a part of my life.
Oh, watch out. There'll be more that mom's right about. Drat.

Because she went through it too :)
She woke up one morning with that urge and desire to have a baby. She might have even woke up with it more than once. So she's speaking from experience here.

Mom knows best + she is similar to you and has had the same or close to the same experiences. The desire to keep the human race alive ain't bad :)

She probably knows this from experience. Our mothers are a wealth of information about many things. It usually comes from what they have learned in life.
