Do any of the atheists in here realize you have increased my faith?

When I first came into Y/A, I skipped around the categories. Somehow, I always ended up in R&S. I noticed all of the atheists and it made me confirm my faith. The atheists have done me a big favor. This is my only way to thank them.

Update:

Rest easy. I have no intention trying to turn an atheist to see the truth. Every atheist in here is as entitled to not believe as I do to believe. I thank you for the recognition.

Do any of the christians in here realize you have increased my lack of faith?

    So what?

You see, that statement you made about not trying to convert an Atheist to see the truth. That is the problem, and you Christians simply can't see it. If you had worded it more like: "I have no intention of attempting to convert you to see my truth (instead of saying see 'the" truth) no one would have a problem with that statement. The belief you have that there is only one valid truth, and that truth is yours, and every other one is wrong....is a fallacy! *sm*

When you ask question like this:

"Why does it seem as though so many atheists fear or hate belief in God?"

Then you only confirm your ignorance. Christians regularly challenge, attack, and threaten atheists with eternal hellfire far more than atheists challenge Christians. And if you think atheists fear God-believers, it is only in the sense that they are closing their mind to other views. I accept your views, though I disagree with them, but I would not be averse to challenging you if you continue to challenge us. Clearly, you are thanking atheists because your ignorant mis-interpretation of them makes you averse to actually listening.

    Me too.

Isn't that funny how that happened.

Do you think we've done the same to them?

    Made them more pro-atheist?

Oh, I am such a failure.

That's not what I wanted to do.

When you see the feelings in here about Christ and His followers, it reaffirms the scripture where He said, "They will hate you because of Me." Praise God He got me out of where I was. I pray all are open to His call

If you choose to follow faith instead of logic, go ahead. No one is stopping you.

do you realize that the Christians on here have strengthened my belief that Christianity is a false religion?

really, you have, but i won't try to convert you.

If I only convert one person to atheism my work will be a success.

I return the sentiment. I've never believed less in a god than since my participation here.
