could i be pregnant?
i had un protected sex at time of ovulation. i felt as though my period was coming so i inserted a tampon , but the thing is , i forgot that i had done so and my husband and i had sex. Later , i started bleeding , and forgetting that i had a tampon already in place , i inserted another. by day 3 , i had fever , nausea , and some vommiting. I discovered the tampon i had inserted and removed it. i went to the doc for a test for t.s.s.....and thankfully it was negative. The thing is , even after a "just in case" round of anti biotics , i am still nauseas , tired and my breasts are swollen and sore. i am mid way through my next cycle. what i wanted to know is , could the bleeding that i had be because of the tampon , and not a "true" period. i dont know if this is at all possible. i have had 3 children , and i feel like i am pregnant.....or maybe just paranoid......none-the-less , i am not feeling well.

If u are having any concerns about something like this, u should call ur dr asap. pregnancy is always a possibility if u had sex esp. unprotected.

Irregardless of any pregnancy, go to the danged doc if your feeling that bad. You might have something that "just in case" antibiotics didnt manage, or somethng worse.

Ummm...by your accounts you only removed one tampon?? I'm confused. Did you take a pregnancy test?

If your not feeling well and are not sure if pregnant, I would suggest you go to you doctor, they could do a blood test to see if your pregnant, that's if the urine test is negative.

yikes sounds like affects from TSS... Toxic shock syndrome... that's scarey.. if you tested negative then you're probably not pregant.. take af ew days to get back on your feet and i hope you feel better soon!
