Can my current desktop be displayed on a 32" LDC HDTV?

I have a Compaq presario with a 3.2 intel celeron d and integrated Radeo graphics. I want to use my 32" widescreen LCD HDTV as my monitor but dont know if it will work. The tv does have a VGA hookup so i could plug it in there but dont know if i need an upgrade before it will display properly. Any help would be great.

You need the right video card that has HD jacks on it. Or your TV might have an input on the back (looks like a bunch of holes with 1 sideways slit) which with the right cable will hook directly to your computer.

yes, you can connect you computer to an LCD tv, as long as the tv has the correct plug, you could connect it to an 80inch if you wanted.
