Why do we get emails when we comment our own videos on youtube?
It's annoying and I always think that it's going to be a youtube comment from somebody else, NOT ME!

Because any new comments on a particular video will send an e-mail notification letting you know that you have a new comment, regardless of where it's coming from.
You can, however, change this settings in My Account.
