Playing isos on PSP? Help!?
I recently got a PSP as a gift while visiting China. I don't have any UMDs for it, but I do have a gi-normous 4 GB Memory Stick. The problem is, I downloaded Harry Potter 5 and put it into the iso folder (and it is an .iso), but it won't work. The system recognizes it and I can start it up to the PSP logo, but then the errors come up saying "The game could not start" and 80020148 or 8002321_? (I can't remember what the second one was exactly). The thing is, I'm not really sure what firmware I'm using. It says 3100EA-R+, and I googled it and it seems like it's some kind of Asian firmware. Also, I checked everything in Recovery mode (so I guess it is a custom firmware?), and tried toggling the settings back and forth but none would work. I also tried putting the iso into GAME, GAME150, and GAME350 but that didn't work either. I'm new to all of this, so if someone could please help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Do I detect some illegal businees? Just kidding.
Your PSP from the Peoples' Republic ( It is Communist China who visited yes? >:( ) probably only works using their Asian Firmware. The only way you could probably get your ISO working is using it on an American version of a PSP.
Or maybe it is a problem with the stick. The ISO image may not have mounted correctly due to compatibility problems. I doubt any US ISOs will work with a PRC memory stick.
You're better off getting a US version of a PSP and a US memory stick. That way everything can be compatible.
I'll do some research to see if there is any way around this.
Hope I helped.
