WhY iS tHiS ??????

If you get your cartilage pierced in your ears, its classified as a body piercing (trust me I have had four but now I only have two because I had to remove my first two & I got my most recent one done on Thursday and it's still throbbing!!) In Australia you need to be over 16 or 18, if your younger you must have parental consect... I can't remember the age you need to be and because I'm 24 it doesn't matter for me, otherwise it's illegal for them to do it, I had to sign a liability clause before she would even look at my ear which is something you can't do if your underage (which probably means the age of consent is 18). I wouldn't go to anyone who doesn't take this precaution!!!!!

I hope this isn't something your just doing randomly, trust me my first piercing was random and I regret it... I got my first two pierced at the same time and I ended up having to take them out. Ear cartilage isn't as easy as just getting your ears pierced!!!

You need to have a parent or legal gardian to be with you, or you need an i.d. There are many risks infection, disease, and also they want to make sure it is all right with your parents. If you worked there would you give a minor a eir peircing

i think they probably just needed someone with an id to be with you , or getting your cartledge pierced is more risky than usual , so they want the customers to be of legal age.

Because you have to be of driving age to get a persing like that!

They need to identity you, no?
