Does anyone else have a school summer book report?

haven't had to do a report like that since 1987 . An I'm from Houston , Tx an every year we had to do that over the summer and read one book. Glad I'm 32 and no more school .Heck college nearly killed me. But its worth it..Just do what you have to do to get out of school and move on to bigger things .Cause no matter what you think all the stuff they teaching you will need it later in life.An you'll understand it more once u get out of school.

And no, I don't have a book report cause I'm not in school, and you know what state I'm in! (That lil one where there are actually people!) lol And neither do my kids! That is kinda weird though! Just get it done already! Or you're grounded!

I had to try this throughout basic college, each summer time. I moved after the 6th grade to a distinctive state so i don't could do it anymore. the place I used to stay there i think of they might of stopped doing it as quickly as we went into Jr. intense. i'm not a hundred% valuable, yet you at the instant are not on my own! a brilliant variety of youngsters are compelled into doing it. I bear in thoughts I hated doing it sooo lots, it became terrible.

yes! in jersey.. i gotta read "So Far From the Bamboo Grove"... i didnt even start.. we have to read it and then like a month into the school year, we have a test on it..i go back Sept. 6th .. i need to get started! GO0D LUCK THOUGH!

i have to do summer reading. we have to read 3 books of their choice and come to school during the summer and take tests over them. they count as 30% of our first quarter grade. it sucks.

in summerschool i had 1. but it depends on what teacher you had because the year after that i didnt have 1
