DANG, that one was my favorite. I think they just plain had fun with that one. They must have been getting tired of all the serious ones because there were a lot of lines in that one that were subtle and funny. The best was when Kirk has this exchange with a guy in a car,

Disgruntled guy in car: Watch where you're going, ya dumb @ss.

Kirk: Well, a double dumb @ss on you.

Here are a pile of them from that movie....it was hilarious!

"There is no honor in attacking the weak." - Worf (to Alexander in TNG Episode)

"If you were any other man I would kill you were you stand." - Worf (to Picard in First Contact)

"The more they overthink the plumbing the easier it is to stop up the drain." - Scotty (Star Trek 3)

"Sometimes love can be starting you right in the face and you wouldn't even know it." - Judzia Dax (in a conversation with Odo)

Oh gosh there's just many to choose from. And so many of my favourite haves already been quoted.

One little scene from ST:IV TVH is Scotty 'interacting' with the computer circa 1980s.

    "Computer!" (addresses computer screne)

(is shown the 'mouse') "Computer" (sweetly)

    (Perhaps the keyboard)

    "A keyboard...how quaint!"

(And I love the look in the guys eyes when he realises just how much money he is going to make off the deal)

My favorite was from The Original Series(TOS):

Kirk: Well, where ARE they (the Tribbles)...?

Scotty: I gave them a very good home, sir.

    Kirk (Loudly): WHERE?

Scotty: I gave 'em to the Klingons, sir.

Kirk (whispering): You gave them to the Klingons???

Scotty: Aye, sir. Before they went into warp, I transported

the whole kit and caboodle into their engine room, where

they'll be no Tribble at all...

(Silence, followed by Very Raucous laughter...)

    .

    .

    .

Edit: BTW, HeyMe: WHICH Episode was that (I'll bet it wasn't really there...)?

    Edit: yutu34: You're So Right...

    Two words: TRANSPARENT ALUMINUM. (Ca-Ching!)...

Source(s): Star Trek (The Original Series) Episode 42 - "The Trouble with Tribbles" Stardate 4523.3 (a.k.a. December 29, 1967)

I don't know about favourite lines but my favourite scene is where Beverley Crusher is teaching Data how to dance and chastises him for being too rigid and suggests he tries smiling to show he is enjoying himself.Cut to Data dancing round the holodeck with a big, false stupid android grin.Very funny!

General Chang: "revenge is a dish best served cold."

Lt. Valeris: Four-hundred years ago, on the planet Earth, workers who felt their livelihood threatened by automation, flung their wooden shoes, called sabo, into the machines to stop them . . . hence the word: sabotage.

Doctor McCoy: "dammit jim im a doctor, not a miracle worker"

Scotty: " im given her all she got captain!"
