Do you believe in ghosts?

When I was little I was at my apartment and there's this wall behind the stereo that is the side of the hallway, the wall is only like 3feet tall with a pole on the side so there a space and you can see into the hall way. During dinner I went to fix the stereo and I looked up into the hallway and I saw this lady standing there standing perfectly still in old layered pink dress with really baggy layers and pendent with like a gold lacy oval border and a ugly pink colour in the centre surrounding a white faced lady that I had never seen before but in later years I found the same symbol on other old style jewelry and boxes. she just stared down the hall at my step dad and I tried not to blink but as soon as I finally did she vanished. I was little and so frozen with fear I ran back to my grandma at the table in tears, and only she believed what I saw. Do you beleive me, or have any information on the necklace or the bontara apartments where I used to live?

Absolutely.  I was a serious skeptic until I actually encountered one in a very old house I was visiting. The owners were not suprised at all. One Christmas Eve, my mother toasted my recently departed grandmother who was always with us that evening. We had a houseful of people.
Immediately after she lifted her glass the one light above the dinner table flickered 3 times, very evenly.  We all got chills and teary eyed. It never happened before that time and never again after that. 
In this house, we hear many strange noises that are not your typical 'house noises' but I tend to try and explain these but find I cannot.  One night, while no one else was home, I was downstairs as I am now, at the computer. Directly above me is the livingroom and something ran heavily across that room shaking the ceiling above me. I ran upstairs with a letter opener I had handy but no one nor nothing was there. everything was locked. This has since happened two more times.  The 'footsteps' are always in the same direction and with the same degree of 'pounding'. No animal could do this 
....unless it was a bear!!!.  Another typical occurrence here and one that has been witnessed by many of our visitors is a loud knock at our front door at around 10:30 PM every night. It does not matter what the weather conditions are or the time of year and it is not an animal flying into the door ( always at 10:30 and no markings anywhere! ) It can be heard throughout the house.
