Would home made salt water have the same effect?
U know when u go swimmin in the sea the water gives ur hair a real wave?-surfer chick like! :)
I was wondering,if i mixed up some salt water at home & scrunched it into my hair would it have the same effect?,would it give the waves more staying power do u think?

not sure its worth a try, i thinks its a mixture of the water and weather conditions. But give it a go when u got nothing planned

Yep. I just read an article about this. Mix up a bit of sea salt and bottled water in a spray bottle and spritz it on! Scrunch your hair to make it piecey. Let air dry or dry in the sun.

i cant say i no what ur talking about but i doubt it. There are a lot of other minerals and stuff in the water and i doubt its just salt that does it. If it is, why make salt water why not just scrub some salt in ur hair in the shower...

The salt will make your hair stiff and kind of sticky.
Once the salt dries and re-crystalizes, it will start to flake off and you will leave a trail of white dust everywhere you go.

Yeah I'm pretty sure store-bought ones are just loaded with filler.
You can get sea salt in the store...

i don't know if it would work but why not try going to a aquarium shop were they sell sea fish you should be able to get the proper salt closest to sea water

i highly dough t it sea salt and home salt have way different elements.
just take buckets of sea water home with oyu. haha

if u contact skintreats.mfbiz.com they used to do something like that but it isnt on there website now if you contact them they can probably send you one i think its around £0.30p
