im a mac noob...?

i want to save my music cds on it. i uploaded about 20 cds last night and they arent there anymore... are they still on the hard drive or are they lost forever??? i dont understand this dam thing.. please help me...

i did that.. and they arent there... do you think they got erased because i renamed my hard drive??

    double click on macintosh HD... it should be in the upper right hand corner of your desktop. There will be a little magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner... search there for your song titles(if you put them in) or the program you uploaded with i.e. iTunes.... they should all be in the same folder.

    They're not showing up in iTunes Library? How and where did you import them to?

    Look in Home > Music > iTunes > iTunes Music to see if they are there.

    Renaming your hard drive won't change anything except the name of the hard drive. If it's the Home folders name that you have changed, then that's something you shouldn't have done.
