Mexico Vacation???

We stayed just South of Cancun and North of Playa Del Carmen in the Riviera Maya. We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. It is a gorgeous place with lots of activities. It is right on the Gulf of Mexico. They also have nightly entertainment, a disco, and great restaurants. In the last two years, I went there for 14 days and the other time was for 10 days to the same resort.

It is an Apple Vaction and Fun Jet Vacation Hotel. The staff is very friendly, nice rooms, and not one complaint about it. Type into google Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar in Riviera Maya, Mexico and you will be able to see all the great stuff with this resort that is all inclusive.

Also, if you are worried about getting a "bug" from eating the food, that is a risk when you go to any international destination. You can go to the walk-in clinic and let them know the circumstances and they will be able to get you the right pills.

Also, Playa Del Carmen is 30 minutes away which is where all the shopping is. The resort has complimentary tour bus that drops you off and picks you up. The times are really reasonable as well and you never have to worry about getting picked up because the bus will be there.

I went to Mexico and stayed in the Riveria Maya region which is about 20 min outside of Cancun. It was beautiful. We stayed at the Iberostar Parasio del sol. It is beautiful. There is a town near by Playa del Carmen. There is not much to do there but shop and a few night spots. If you want to leave the resort there are some really neat activities to do. But the resort is so nice that you don't want to leave. It is peaceful and away from the activities of Cancun.

I love Mexico-I've been about 6 time's. Cancun is nice,but lots of people!- I agree that Playa del Carmen is really cool not to many people you can go to Xel'Ha (water park-eco place really nice) you can stay at this place called Hotel Basico it's really cool and at a good price!.Merida is nice too, It's a small city with lot's of charm-- no beaches near,but lot's of tours take you to Ruin's and many other place's. Mexico City is Beautiful I love it! I was scared to go at first, but Im so glad I did go so many things to see Frida's museum Diego Rivera's Mural, The Cathedral, The Plaza!! and The Bellas Artes Theater-- Good food, good people!!! We stayed at the Grand Melia It's in a Good Location.

If you don't like crowds I would suggest playa del carmen-it's only takes a ferry boat ride right out of cozumel and it's one of the most beautiful places I've seen. There is a eco-freindly park there (very big) and I believe it's called x-tapa (don't quote me on that!) They have swimming with dolphins there and nature walks-the works. As for hotels, try a search on travelocity or expedia-they run many specials and you can get good deals if you book online. Many of the hotels will include food and drinks as well. Hope this helps!

I would tell u to go to the yucatan. unfortunatley, due to hurricane dean the other day our vacation in 2 weeks is looking kind of grim. if u wait they will rebuild. there r awesome pyramids and mayan temples! the second largest reef in the world is also there. the one good thing about this area that got hit so hard by dean is it is known for it's spectacular underwater world! p.s. the eco park is Xcaret.There's also chankanab in cozumel.

Mexico's not that crowded. And wasnt the best vacation. Theres really no point of going their unless where you are ints cold and doesn;t have many oceans. When i went we mostly shopped, swam, and thats about all. Its a good place to relax, but not that great for site seeing.

Cabo san lucas hotel is not that expensive its called "pueblo bonito" it right on the beach and its GORGEOUS they have tond of things to do out on the beach and little places to eat right on the sand. The hotel is really nice also I recomend it to anyone!

if i were u i would go to bahias de huatulco or cozumel becuase they have beautiful beaches .

dont listen to pOrkrOd Myrtle Beach sucks the water is not clear like bahias de huatulco or cozumel
