Should authorities be removed from power who write/submit/approve discriminatory laws?

Should they lose their position if defeated in a discrimination suit? Should they be forced out of office if they passed then must annul a law because of pre-existing federal law conflicts or because of discrimination suit decisions elsewhere?

The simple answer is maybe. If the law is blantantly discriminatory and that is proven, then some action should be taken. If the discrimination is based on a violation of one of those made up forms of discrimination that the "hate speech" crowd is constantly pushing through, then the answer is no.
