Anyone have an idea of what having a tree removed costs?

Good sized tree in a small townhouse yard. I know it'll be a case by case basis, just looking for a rough idea.

    depending on size any where from 150.00 and up unless you can find someone who does it for a side job ots allways cheaper that way . someone who has that businees is gonna be higher. im guessing around 300.00 to 500.00 at the least by a tree company.

    Call several companies and ask for a ball park figure. Tell them about how tall the tree is.

    I'm in VA and it can cost up to $1500 around here.
