How do some men get taller then both their mother and father?

I'm only like 5"6. My dad is 6". I'm 15. My cousin is 6"2(16) his dad is 5"8. (mom's shorter). And I thought about grandparents and our grandparents are arent taller than 5"9.

    As a general rule, boys grow taller than their mother. sometimes the tall gene misses a generation or two and then reappears. As you are 15 there is a good chance you will grow taller.
