Since all of these cars will be under the manufacturer's warranties for some time after you buy them, I would let the driving experience be your guide.

If the hassle of fixing your car really disturbs you then you have no real choice. The Lexus is by far the best car of these three. In addition, it will hold its value much better than the other two cars especially after 100,000 miles.

Look at the automotive press before you buy. Their articles will give you things to look for as you are test driving.

The lexus is a Toyota, and as such it will be much more reliable than the other 2. Mercedes is one of the least reliable of all car makers. Check consumer reports if you have a subscription.

BMW is only a little better than mercedes.

    Stick with the Lexus.

I'd definitely go for the Mercedes. They are still one of the best built cars around, dependable and hold their re-sale value. Once you've driven a Benz few can compare. While there have been a few problems lately, they have supposedly been ironed out. Like all luxury cars they cost more to repair. Personally I'd consult with a couple of mechanics for an opinion on which to purchase.

i would go with the lexus. It has more room inside than the others, and will probably last longer. when my mother was buying her car a year and a half ago she looked at 2 cars. a 2006bmw 325i and a 2006 toyota camry se (the es350 is lexus version of the camry) and she chose the camry, because it had more space drove nicer (its really nice on long trips), and it was going to be more reliable. I would definatly go with the lecus its a very nice car

The Germans have been plagued by reliability problems lately, and the cost of maintenance are really high. Given the choice, I'd go with the Lexus, no question.

  • I like all three. The Lexus should be the most realiable out of the bunch.Bmw and Mercedes-Benz are expensive to fix.You might want to look at the Acura TL also.

I would say get the 2007 Lexus ES350 because it has the most horsepower, torque and best features. And it costs less than all the others.

if all you're looking for is a nice car that will last a while, I would pick the Lexus. Their customer service is great, their product is reliable.

it is, however, one of the most bland and uninteresting cars ever built.

The most enjoyable car of the bunch is, hands down, the BMW, but I doubt it would last as long.

I would go with the Beemer. They are made better than the other two and the standards for BMW are better than lexus and mercedes.
