Has anyone ever tried to come up with an integrated religious school of thought...?

...which combines and corelates the beliefs of Islam, Christianity and Judaism? After all, all these are Abrahamic religions and are very very closely related.

People have been trying to do this for centuries. In the Middle Ages and the Rennaissance in particular many mystics tried to find a way of bringing the three great Western Religions together - Abraham Abulafia of Spain and Pico de Mirandola in Italy especially, both of whom hoped that the strife between the cultures could be transcended through mystical knowledge... Interestingly, Mohammed himself hoped that Islam would unite the three religions, believeing it was the final Revelation of the Book. He was therefore very disappointed when Christians and Jews decided to stay Christians and Jews but did tell his followers to treat them respect as they were linked to Islam.

At the moment, the only organisation I know of which is trying to do this is:

    http://www.religioperennis.org/

Check it out. All faiths are given equal weight. The term Religio Perennis means Perennial Religion. The group believes that at bottom all religions speak of the same root beliefs - that God is immanent and transcendent (ie everywhere and beyond) and that God also resides in humanity.

    Have a look.

Have you looked at Seikhism? It combines Hinduism and Islam.

Anyone who believes Islam is 'very very closely related' to Judaism and Christianity has never read the Old and New Testaments and Glorious Koran.

Koran is so different from the Bible that no one knowledgable of the texts could make such a claim.

Yep. Let me see if I can remember what it's called, Bahá'í--yeah, that's the one. Very decent religion if you haven't already discounted Islam, Judaism and Christianity as possibilities.
