Financing Furniture?

Does anyone know where I can get financing on furniture? I don't want to go thru Rent a Center, and I already know about ez furniture warehouse. I am looking for something in the chicagoland area so I can p/u the item and not have to pay a HUGE shipping cost. Of course with asking this question, means I don't have good credit.... anyone out there have answers? Or financed with having some bad credit issues? Thanks in advance for your help!! I am in NEED of furniture and looking for a microfiber set!

Look to second hand stores. You can get furniture cheaper.

Or how about just saving your money till you can afford to pay cash. Frankly, you don't really NEED new furniture. It's something you WANT. An empty living room might look funny, but your life doesn't depend on furniture.

Most furniture stores will offer financing. Many do 0 interest for a period. Of course, your credit needs to qualify.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I PAID ALL OF MY DEBT OFF. AND IT TAKES UP TO THREE MONTHS FOR IT TO SHOW ON MY REPORT. SO I HAD A VERY LOW BEACON.

I WENT TO A FURNITURE STORE HERE VERY POPULAR. I HAD TALKED TO THE MANAGER. I TOLD HIM " LOOK I CAN PAY CASH FOR IT RIGHT NOW BUT I NEED TO BUILD MY CREDIT UP. SO IF YOU CAN FINANCE ME THEN GREAT IF NOT I WILL BE BACK. "

THEY RAN MY INFO THROUGH BSBC AND I WAS DENIED, BUT THEY ALSO HAD ANOTHER OPTION. THEY DID THEIR OWN FINANCING FOR PEOPLE WITH LOW SCORE TO TRY AND HELP THEM. I HAD NO INTEREST RATE.... AND THEY STARTED ME OUT WITH A $1500 LIMIT.

SO NEXT TIME YOU GO TO A FURNITURE STORE ... TELL THEM YOU SITUATION AND TELL THEM YOU WANT AN IN HOUSE ACCOUNT. THEY MAY WANT YOU TO PUT 30% DOWN BUT IT IS WHAT YOU NEED TO REBUILD YOUR CREDIT. BUT SOME PLACES HAVE AN IN HOUSE BUT IS LIKE THE SAME THING AS A RENT A CENTER SO BECAUSE . YOU DONT WANT TO PAY ANY INTEREST. CAUSE YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO TO A RENT A CENTER.

USUALLY COMPANIES THAT ORIGINATE AND ARE ONLY IN THAT STATE WILL BE THE ONES THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO SHOP AROUND. BUT THEY ARE OUT THERE AND THEY HAVE THAT OPTION.
