Does MEPS test for Hydroxycut?
Currently I am taking Hydroxycut Hardcore. I was wondering does MEPS test for HH? How many days before I go to MEPS should I stop taking it? Or is this something that I shouldn't worry bout cause they don't test for it?
This is a very difficult choice btwn several very good answers. Thanks everyone for answering .

Wow, lots of GREAT answers here. OK, here is the deal. I am a unit prevention leader (drug test guy) for my unit. The Army will test every specimen for 6 drugs (not going to tell you what they are because drug use and soldiers are not a good mix). They also test every specimen for one drug on a list of 25 (or so) on a random basis.
Now for your situation. If it is not illegal than your in the clear. Rule of thumb, ask your recruiter. He needs to put you in as much as you want to be in. Lay it all out for him and he should not steer you wrong...at least in this matter. If he tells you that you will never see combat then he is full of it. I hope this helps. If you need more info e-mail me from my profile and I will help you out.

MEPS does not test for Ephedra but your fiend won't be able to use any supplements while in training. The PXs do not stock Ephedra based products either so when he goes overseas he would have to special order those products.

Hydroxycut is a legal drug. Don't sweat it. If you are scared of popping for something just tell them you are taking it. It is OK you wont get in trouble.

They only test for illegal drugs. As long as you take the Hydroxycut as directed on the bottle you will be fine.

As long as there's nothing illegal in it, which being hydroxycut, there's not. They sell that stuff in the PX's even out here in Iraq. Don't worry about it

It is a legal over the counter substance so unless your taking a way over the rec. amount your safe. HH has caffeine in it and it will not show up on urine test, You stop about a week before you leave it will be out of your system just drink lots of water.

They are cracking down on a lot of things right now so I would advise you to stop taking them since you won't be able to take them when you go to training anyway. Ask your recruiter also to see what he says and he should be able to help you.
