What can I do for parking at TD Banknorth Gardens?

I am going in tonight for an event, and I can't believe that parking is $23!!! Is there anything you can recommend for someone with little money who does not know how to get around in Boston? (Something nearby, that is)

Yeah, I agree with the above response. You can park at one of the outer T stations (like Wellington or Oak Grove on the Orange line) or something, it's cheaper and easier than dealing with Boston traffic around there. Or at one of the commuter rail stations on one of the lines going into North Station, which is literally connected to the TD Banknorth Garden.

The subway and commuter rail's website is at www.mbta.com

There's a lot a few blocks away that's $10 for events. If you go from the TD BankNorth, on the end where you can park near North Station (where TGIFridays used to be) the lot is right there. It's small so it fills up fast.

Why on earth will you be taking your car to the Garden? There is the commuter rail that goes directly to the Garden if you are coming out of Boston. There is the Green line if you are in Boston.
