My Dr. gave me Zyprexa for sleep?

Seroquel gave me terrible nightmares and I was afraid to go to sleep. My doctor prescribed Imipramine for the nightmares and I could sleep normally again.

I gained 50 pounds on Seroquel in one year.

Now I take Wellbutrin 300 mg. and have lost 32 pounds. It also gives me lots of energy.

I do know that zyprexa will make you gain weight, as will most antidepressants, however on the other hand wellbutrin is the only one that is supposed to not make you gain weight, they consider it weight neutral, but everybodys body metabolizes things differently. I don't know how old you are but, but my question would be why can't he give you a sleeping pill like lunesta to take on the evenings when you are having difficulty, it works great.
