Do you understand your Sprint PCS Bill?

Every month there are charges on my Sprint PCS bill for services that I have repeatedly canceled such as $15 for PCS Vision pack, $5 for PCS picture Mail, $5 for Video mail, text messaging fees and 50 cents for messages(?). This has been going on for a full year now and has cost me $730 plus tax in bogus fees.

How much attention do you pay to the actual bill and do you find bogus charges on your Sprint or other cell phone bill??

Update:

I have been in contact with Sprint Customer Service at least 6 times in the last year and have had no results so far. Each time the Service Rep says "Yes that service has been canceled and it will be off when the next billing cycle starts" Of course it has never actually stopped. Next month the charges are still there. Sprint doesn't even keep records(or admit it) of my previous contacts. Another weirdness that is frustrating is that since signing up with Sprint I have NEVER received a bill in the mail. I do get late notices but never the first bill.

YES. I see mistakes on almost every bill I get from them. Every bill's total charge is different. I have the same plan bill to bill and don't have any other services like texting, internet, etc. Even roaming is included in my plan. Once I called and questioned the bill and the girl said it's because the taxes change. What !? Look if taxes are at 6.25% on $1.00 you pay $1.06 dollars. That does not change bill to bill. You have to keep an eye on them and question everything.

I notice something similar on a large cable providers bill. My neighbor and I have the same exact plan yet our bills differ. When I called and asked line by line what the charges were for they could not explain them. I told them I recalculated my bill and what I was going to pay them. The girl back down and changed my bill to my figures. I further stated if there were discrepancies on future bill I would be calling to cancel my service with them and back charge them for secretarial / accounting services to correct the billing. A lot of companies have morons working for them.

YES! i was on the phone for 2 hours. my last bill was 600 and some how my bill had changed from my original plan that is no longer available to a new plan that charges me for texting. I used about 1000 texts a month and my fiance uses about 3000. u do the math. the bill was changed on the day that i bought my house and my fiance was working at the time that it happened. so now we cant even get our old plan back and have to spend another 20 a month. i still have to call and complain some more because now i cant even use the internet on my phone and im paying 20 bucks more...what juice bags.

Complain to Sprint. If they refuse to lower your bill, call you state Attorney General and/or the Federal Trade Commission and/or the Federal Communications Commission.

Cell phone companies are the biggest crooks.
