Spyware remover: who needs it?

I've always had spyware remover on my computers and used it regularly, but I've discovered that if I go to "Internet Options" and delete all cookies, browsing history, etc. ("delete all" and check the box "Also, delete files and settings stored as add-ons") that running spyware remover after that produces no "bugs" of any kind. So, why would you need spyware remover if deleting everything does the job in a 10th of the time it takes for spyware removers to do it?

It doesnt get rid of everything, internet options only rid you of things that are kept in certain temporary files while you surf the internet. Its meant to free up space, and it does sometimes get rid of spyware. Spyware removers are more accurate and effecient at cleaning out Spyware because they scan your entire computer. Spyware doesnt always stay in temporary files and sometimes spread to other files within your computer so Spyware removers are somewhat necessary.

Some spyware affects your registry, deleting things does not clean your registry, that's one reason why you should use spyware software.
