What are your thought about piracy in videogames?

I live in Ecuador, and illegal copies of DVD movies and videogames, also called pirate copies, are practically legal here; there has recently been some police actions destined to decomision copies from the major stores that sell them. But its far from disapearing. What are your thoughts about piracy?

I personally love it, i know what some people may say, that i 'm damaging the industry of videogames if i don't buy real copies, but if i don't buy them, i would not be able to play them at all, 50 dollars might not be too much in developed countries, but here it is a lot of money. I love piracy cause i can buy 30 ps2 games with a little less than 50 dollars(1.5 each), and the quality is almost the same(some DVDs might be damaged but still only cost 1.5). And eventhough it is not giving money to the developers; Sony, nintendo and microsofts sales of consoles receives major benefits cause with piracy, they sale much more consoles in third world contries.
