If you love someone would you do things to please them?

I have seen men and women get on their knees to another for much less than God requires?

If you knew the work of Satan without a hedge around you from God's love you better be very afraid. Very afraid for you and yours!

God gives us hope so what can we fear what man can do to us.

God has our very best interest at heart. I would rather go to someone that can do something about my dilemmas than someone that can do nothing and spread my confession all over town.

Are we graceful forgiving beings? I think not? Are we a jealous and envious creature? I am sure.

What we expect from God we would not even left a finger to give to another.Unless something was in it for us.

Why do we get on our knees. Because we love God. We give thanks for what he has done in us. When you have his spirit living big in you and it takes time. Some give up prematurely. We will do what ever it takes to get God's attention. He does what ever it takes to get ours be it good or bad.

God has a perfect love and that cast out all fear. Proverbs 1 says fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. It did not say anything about us continuing to fear God. God's love leads us to repentance. He is soooooo goood to us we just can not help but fall not only on our knees but prone on our faces to him. He just knocks us down with blessings that we do not have room to recieve. it is not all about the material but it is about the spiritual. peace and Joy and love.The Holyspirit teaching us how to act and giving us a new character. "Old things passing away and behold everything becomes new." We do not do anything to deserve his goodness because we are capable of anything without God. The mind and the way we think hinders us from seeking God. You need a mind renewal. Hebrews 2.

Are you suggesting that it is OK that Muslims get on their knees several times a day out of fear of their community and their god but Christians can't because their God is gracious?

So it is OK for Muslims to blow up babies in the market places because their parents aren't the right type of Muslim but Christians can't be overwhelmed by the power of the One that created the universe?

With all the bloodshed going on in the world today, why wouldn't you get on your knees and plead with your Heavenly Father to intervene instead of letting us do as we desire?

I don't always get on my knees to pray. Getting on ones knees is an act of reverence and worship. Why do you care what someone else does according to their beliefs.

God is great and loving and the fear of God is a respect for God, for me.

because God is God. if the Queen of England or the President of the United States comes to visit you show respect...this is God. He deserves the highest honor. I rarely get on my knees to pray but I really should show Him that respect. That's why I stand when I sing praises to Him. That's why I raise my hands in surrender to Him. It's all an act of worship and He deserves it.

God in fact is really the only thing we should be afraid of, for only the "treasure stored up in Heaven" is permanent.

Its not because we are fearful but because we are humbling our selves in his presence.

Now as long as we are humble and Praise and give him the Glory that he deserves we are in his graces, that with the belief in his son JESUS. that is our job here on earth to serve and believe in him.

I have nothing to fear from the Lord God for I am saved and shall spend my eternity worshipping him. It is the unsaved that should be afraid.

I love to worship Him and I am happy to bow down for Him.

I love Hm, my submission is by love.He can save my soul, or destroy it...so I have a reason to love Him, but He keeps His promises.

He is love, but He is also Just. He is both. So He will do what He says He will do. : )
