This is gross, but what does it mean?

You know when you snort lugis (or how ever you spell it)? (sorry i know disgusting) is it normal to have a tiny bit of blood in it? The inside of my nose hurts a little but it isn't bleeding or anything.

Update:

i have been sick over the past couple of days, headache and fever. The blood dont sart until that was COMPLETELY gone.... does that make a difference?

Most likely it is nothing to worry about. The linings of our nose and sinuses are really quite amazing. Our own defenses against infection are what cause us to form "lugis", cough, or get stuffed up. I would say that it is not necessarily "normal" to have blood in the mucous, but, also, not terribly abnormal either. The blood can be because of numerous things, like nose picking, dry nose, or hell, doing too much blow. Or, maybe you cut some nose hairs too close, trauma, or some other type of interior damage. So, if you are just experiencing a little bit of red, I wouldn't worry too much about it. However, if you have other symptoms, copious and discolored discharge, coughing, sneezing, or frequent nose bleeds, (basically, if you are experiencing symptoms of an infection/cold, pain, fever, etc, then, you might have your doctor look at you. Take care. I hope this helped.

sounds like sinus trouble, not sever though. My son has alot of that but he has a vessel in his nose that has been cauterized

    perfectly normal..

Don't worry.. if this is the only symptom then i can assure you that there is no problem.. it is just tiny vessels broke (and they normally do) and ooze some blood.. and that is the whole story...

yea, being that it is summer and all that. the inside of your nose is probably a little extra dry.

probably an infection. if you are having bad symptoms see a doctor. it might clear up on its own though.
